There are 2 possible scenarios when canceling orders.

1.) Canceling the order if the "Auto-fulfill" setting is turned ON.
Auto-fulfill is an in-app setting that is turned ON by default, from the moment you install the application. This is the recommended fulfillment setting, allowing Viralstyle to process, print & ship your orders automatically.

To cancel an order when the Auto-fulfill setting is turned ON, you must cancel within 24hrs from the date/time the customer places the order. After that 24hr period, the status of that order will change to "PRINTING". This means that the order has moved into production and cancellations are no longer possible at this stage.

Here's how to cancel:
Click the drop-down menu on the Shopify Order Page, then click "Cancel Order". After you have selected the reason, click the red Cancel order button to confirm.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Cancellations must be requested manually from the Shopify Order page or inside the Viralstyle app from the order(s) INFO tab, Viralstyle Fulfillment cannot be held accountable for late requests.

 If you choose to cancel the order in the Viralstyle app from the INFO tab, you will still have to cancel and/or refund the customers order from the Shopify order page. It is your responsibility as the store owner to cancel & refund Shopify orders. Viralstyle Fulfillment does not have access to take action(s) in your Shopify account through the API.

2.) Canceling the order if the "Auto-fulfill" setting is turned OFF.
If the Auto-fulfill setting is turned OFF, the 24hr cancellation period no longer applies. All orders that are placed with Viralstyle products will require "Manual Fulfillment" for each order. Viralstyle will not process the order(s) until you have requested fulfillment manually, when this setting is turned OFF. Learn more about Manual Fulfillment in the article below.

Here's how cancel:
Click the drop-down menu on the Shopify Order Page, then click "Cancel Order". After you have selected the reason, click the red Cancel order button to confirm.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
You will not have the ability to cancel the order in the Viralstyle Fulfillment app (like you would in scenario #1), because you have not yet requested fulfillment for this order. 

If you cancel the order from the Shopify order page, you will notice that the order in the Viralstyle app will remain as PENDING. This will have no impact on other orders, or with future fulfillment. You can leave the order as PENDING, or you can request fulfillment manually & cancel. Either way, no action is required after canceling the order from the Shopify order page first.

Here's how:
First be sure that you have canceled the order from the Shopify order page drop-down (seen above).

Next, click the INFO tab to the right of the PENDING order in question, then click "Fulfill with Viralstyle". The info tab will close and you'll see the order status change to "ACCEPTED". Click the INFO tab again, you will immediately see a red "Cancel Fulfillment" button appear. Click this button to cancel the order and you will see the status change to "CANCELED".
